OOAK Vintage Dining Set

Absolutely stunning, one of a kind set of vintage mid century sculptural dining chairs and table. Very limited information is available; no other examples or anything remotely similar have been found. As per the previous owner, this set was brought to the PNW from Hawaii by a U.S. war veteran.  

Clearly handmade, each chair is slightly different with it's own characteristics, and chunky, severe constructivist shapes. Constructed of wood and newly upholstered with Bernhardt fabric, following the makers original design. The legs of the table continue the sculptural theme, slightly arcing towards the tabletop. All over wear and imperfections that give this incredibly special piece rich character and appeal. A truly special, once in a lifetime acquisition.
